The Golden Age of Dreams- Lake Siskiyou

Last summer I did a little solo tour up to the Northwest. It was lonely. On the first day, I stopped at my favorite spot on the 5 going North, Siskiyou Lake. That day I was struck by the title and some lyrics for a song called “The Golden Age of Dreams,” which became the opening track on an album we’ll be releasing this summer called Stray Light. We play it live pretty often now. Its an exciting song all about the future and its steeped in the hope that there is uncharted knowledge out there and that the answers to our current problems will someday be discovered (perhaps by smart people.) Of course, by then, they’ll have problems we could never conceive of so… I don’t know. But lets not worry about that. The point is: don’t worry. There is beauty ahead.
